Step 1: Enable the share settings for your Trello board
First, open up your Trello account, and head to the board that you’d like to embed inside Notion.
Click on the top right button above your board that reads ‘Share’’. Make sure you toggle the option to “anyone with the link can view the board”.
Next, make sure that you’ve selected Notion’s built-in app integration for Trello. To do that, click on the Import button on the left-hand side of your Notion document. Then, click on Trello on the popup window.
Step 2: Embed the Trello board or task inside Notion
Head to your Notion document and type “/Trello” where you want to insert the board.
Once you've chosen to use the Trello import, Notion will prompt you for access credentials, to link the two apps. You will be requested to grant authorization in a designated pop-up window.
Once connected, select the board that you’d like to embed inside a new Notion document.
Please note - for some strange reason, Notion seems to have an issue embedding the Trello boards inside an existing Notion page. Instead, it creates a new Notion document by default once you authorize a Trello import.
One workaround suggested on Notion’s Reddit page is that you can embed individual Trello cards and not entire boards in your existing doc. Here’s how you do it - head to an individual card inside Trello and copy the card’s link. Once you paste the link in your Notion doc, the task and its updates will show up as an embed.
