Similar to using Google Photos on Android, you can use iCloud Photos on iPhone for your slideshow. The Apple Photos app offers a built-in slideshow creator but automatically saves your creation as a Memory for quick and easy access and editing.

Open the Photos app and follow one of the sets of steps below depending on which pictures you want to use.

Create a slideshow from selected photos

If you have random photos scattered throughout the Photos app, you can select them and then create the slideshow in just a few steps.

1. Choose the photos by tapping Select at the top and then picking each picture.
2. Tap the three dots on the bottom right and select Play as Slideshow.
3. When the slideshow begins, you’ll see that music is automatically added which is a great feature. But you can change the song if you like by tapping the music button on the bottom left.
4. You can make additional edits by tapping the three dots on the top right. You can then manage the photos, edit the title, and loop the slideshow.
5. To save the slideshow to your Memories, use the three dots to choose Add to Favorites.

Create a slideshow from an existing album

Maybe you have the pictures you want to use collected into an album in the Photos app. This makes creating the slideshow a breeze.

1. Choose the album and tap Movie at the bottom.
2. When the move starts, music is automatically added just like the slideshow feature above. Tap the music button on the bottom left to change the song.
3. You can make additional edits using the three dots on the top right. You can then edit the title and timeline along with loop the movie.
4. To save the movie to your Memories, use the three dots to choose Add to Favorite Memories.

Make a slideshow with PowerPoint on mobile

Whether you want a photo slideshow or full presentation, you can use PowerPoint on both Android and iPhone. You can also add audio and videos, apply slide transitions and animations, and include other effects like in the desktop app.
